Laminate Sailcloth
Laminate Sailcloth is a broad category of sails consisting of aramids, carbon fiber, spectra/dyneema and vectran types of cloth. While all of these cloths have subtle differences between them which make some better for racing and others better for mega yacht applications. They do share some basic traits when compared to their dacron counterparts. Laminate sails offer a lighter weight fabric that have a greater effective wind range.
